4-H & Cooperative Extension
|
4-H Youth Development is part of Kentucky Cooperative Extension. Extension’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of Kentucky citizens through non-formal education for the entire family. Extension agents and volunteers take the results of university research and explain it in such a way that different age groups can learn and apply the information to their own lives. Through a partnership among the University of Kentucky, Kentucky State University, county and state governments and USDA, an Extension office is located in every county. In addition to 4-H, Extension provides educational programs in agriculture, natural resources, family & consumer sciences and community & economic development. Extension serves all people regardless of race, color, age, sex, religion, disability, or national origin. Be sure to visit www.ca.uky.edu/ces. Ask your Extension agents about program on:
