$1.25 for a soft drink out of a machine or 25 cents per can for a 12 pack on sale…$125 for the coolest shoes or retreads for a buck, twenty-five at the Goodwill Store…what’s the better buy? No matter how much money you have, it pays to manage it wisely. In 4-H, kids learn the difference in a “want” and a “need,” how a bank account works, how to create a budget, to get the most for the money, to use a credit card responsibly, to save for the future, and to make money work for you through investments. These are skills you’ll use throughout life…starting right now!
