Family Sciences

Graduate Programs

The Department of Family Sciences has master’s and doctoral programs, with emphasis areas in adolescent development, aging, couple and family therapy, family finance and economics, and family processes.

Graduates of our master’s or doctoral programs are eligible to become Certified Family Life Educators (CFLEs), a professional certification administered by the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) that demonstrates competency in ten primary areas:
