Interested in the Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition?
The Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition offers appropriate preparation for further study in nutritional sciences and health related sciences, particularly public health, medicine, pharmacy, health care supplies, physical therapy, physician assistant, and nutrition research.  Human Nutrition prepares you for careers in: quality control and product development for the food industry, regulatory services and food policy, formulation and sales of nutritional supplements, pharmaceutical development and sales, and health-related professions. Human Nutrition prepares you for advanced study in: medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nutrition research, physical therapy, physician assistant, and public health.

Students interested in the major are encouraged to view the suggested Four-Year Plan (UK Core) or Four-Year Plan (University Studies Program).  Transfer students are welcome.  If you do transfer into the major from another at the University of Kentucky you should expect to take a minimum of three semesters to complete all required coursework, assuming you have completed all pre-major requirements.
