The BMP Workshop is designed to provide the Kentucky horticulture industry with specific information on growing and maintaining healthy, high quality plants in an environmentally conscious manner. The BMP workshops provide a range of information from water quality to new plant selections, from pesticide storage to insect control.

The BMP workshop, a partnership between UK, KNLA, and WKNLA, developed from a need to provide programming opportunities to growers in West Kentucky. It is now a multi-location event involving Extension agents, associates, specialists, and expertise from other states. In addition, the BMP workshop has enjoyed the support of the Barnhart Fund for Excellence making it possible to recruit nationally recognized experts.

The BMP workshop is a great way to earn pesticide and certified arborist CEUs.
