Preparation at UK

My time at University of Kentucky provided an outstanding framework of courses and practical experiences to build upon. They not only taught me "how", but stressed the "why" of doing research. While many of my contemporaries were still learning to properly conduct research in their PhD programs, I was able to move ahead and develop other skills. This small difference really paid off when the job search began. Jason's graduate adviser while in the UK Weed Science M.S. program was Dr. William Witt.
