Raising tobacco is a very hard and long job. Here are the several steps in raising Dark-Fired tobacco:

First, you have to plant the tobacco. This is commonly called setting. Farmers take tobacco plants from beds or greenhouses, and use a setter to put the plants in the ground. A setter is the machine behind the tractor in this picture.
