Children's Environmental Health

As a parent, grandparent, guardian or caregiver, you want your child to be safe. But pollutants can cause health problems for children that can follow them through life. Over time the harm can build up. The Kentucky Children's Environmental Health Working Group was formed to help educate Kentucky families about environmental health risks and prevention techniques.

Children are at much greater risk from environmental hazards because of a number of factors. To learn more about children's environmental health issues, click here.

October is Children's Health Month. If you plan to celebrate Children's Health Month in your county or community and would like to share your event on the ENRI web site or newsletter please contact Ashley Osborne.
