Partnerships with other universities
Over the past few years, the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville equine programs have been collaborating on several shared projects, including a consortium display at the World Equestrian Games and the Kentucky International Equine Summit. Another of these collaborative efforts is an elective course for equine students from both programs that emphasizes genetics, nutrition, reproduction and the athletic horse.
