Hypothetical Forest Transportation Planning Problems

       We have made available a series of hypotentical forest transportation planning problems (FTPP) for the purpose of algorithm testing. These are medium-scale problems have 500 road segments where traffic is allowed on both directions, 25 timber sale locations, one destination, and a single period.
       Variable costs per m3 of timber hauled ranged from $0.01 to $10.0. Fixed cost per road segment ranged from $1 to $10,000. Lastly, sediment amount per road segment ranged from 0 to 100 ton. All hypothetical FTPP below have the same attributes per road segment (variable cost, fixed cost, and sediment) but different locations for timber sales and destinations. By clicking each picture, a compressed folder contaning two text files can be downloaded. "Edge_data.txt" contains information for each road segment (from_node_id, to_node_id, variable_cost, fixed_cost, and sediment_amount), and "Sale_data.txt" contains the volume to be delivered from each timber sale location to the destination (timber_sale_node_id, destination_node_id, and volume).
