Introduction to new Master Grazer Coordinator

Welcome readers to the Master Grazer summer newsletter. This edition will focus on grazing livestock in the summer months and maximizing the forage potential on your farm.

I, Zach Workman, would like to introduce myself as the new Master Grazer Coordinator. I took over the position shortly after the spring grazing school in April. My background is mainly in grass and small grain breeding. I worked under Dr. Tim Phillips as a student at the University of Kentucky for 3.5 years. After graduating with a degree in Agricultural Science in May of 2016, I continued working for Dr. Phillips until I took this position. This is an exciting and educational opportunity that I am very pleased to be a part of and I look forward to working with this program. Thank you to our readers and I hope you find our summer newsletter educational and beneficial.
