University of Kentucky School of Human Environmental Sciences News & Notes monthly e-newsletter
From the Director

Dr. Ann Vail December is a busy time in the School of Human Environmental Sciences. As the semester is coming to a close, we are preparing for Commencement and for a much-anticipated holiday break. We recently held our 4th All-School Conference, bringing together 375 faculty, professional staff, Extension specialists, FCS Extension agents and county program assistants. The day provided an opportunity for us to focus on families and opportunities for our programming. We also celebrated the outstanding achievements of three colleagues. Read further about the 2013 Patricia Brantley Todd Awards of Excellence in Human Environment Sciences Extension later in this newsletter.

As you prepare for the holidays and time with family and friends, we wish you all the very best. Enjoy the joy of the season.

With warmest holiday wishes,

Ann Vail
